We are seeking a Key Account Manager to strategically manage and grow our portfolio of key accounts. The successful candidate will oversee assigned accounts, proactively solicit new and existing clients, and generate business opportunities while promoting the company’s product portfolio.
These are your key tasks :
- Solicit new and existing customers, promote services, generate opportunities, and drive growth with new and existing accounts
- Identify and propose optimal solutions for customer needs, negotiate rates and charges, and close deals in line with company guidelines
- Design tailored solutions for customers, consulting internal experts for complex transportation or logistics requirements
- Implement new business, align with customer service teams, and establish accurate SOPs prior to business start
- Manage key accounts, maintain strong customer relationships, perform quarterly reviews, and coordinate with RAM, GAM, and global stakeholders
- Oversee pricing with customers, provide internal and external proposals, and coordinate ad-hoc quotations with the Product Organization
- Lead RFQs, develop business in line with the Switzerland Business Development Strategy, and ensure best-in-class customer service
- Maintain Salesforce with accurate sales data, report weekly activities, proactively share information within the sales team, and leverage sales support functions effectively
Requirements
Successful completion of secondary-level education, ideally a diploma as “Speditionskaufmann / -frau” or equivalent in logistics / transportationSeveral years of professional experience in sales, key account management, and operational roles within Transportation LogisticsProven track record in customer service, indoor sales, and / or marketingFluent in English and German, with ability to lead complex negotiations; knowledge of French or Italian is a plusStrong commercial acumen and entrepreneurial mindset with a results-driven, success-oriented attitudeExcellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills; persuasive, resilient, and able to manage conflicts effectivelyFlexible, agile, and able to perform under pressure while maintaining professionalism and loyaltySelf-motivated, efficient, and collaborative team player with a proactive approach to achieving objectivesBenefits
