WHAT YOU WILL DO IN YOUR ROLE
- Communicate and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to analyse the technical requirements, translate technical requirements to design requirements and develop architecture of the proposed hardware solutions
- Specify design concept and define electronic constraints in collaboration with the engineering team to take into account other technical field constraints in the electronic design to ensure proper operation of the final product
- Design & development of complex layouts of rigid and flexible printed circuit boards (using CAE and CAD applications & tools)
- Development of complex layouts as per our project development process, participating in weekly meetings, preparing test plan for electronics solution for product & process validation, with a focus on production tools for testing
- Plan and execute board bring-up, engineering validation testing and design changes to resolve problems, to ensure final products conformity to design requirements related to performance, reliability, and cost
- Coordination of prototype production and evaluation of industrial production approach with internal and external partners, ensuring electronic hardware meets best-in-class standards and applicable regulations
THE EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS YOU WILL BRING
Eng. EPFL or HES Master's degree in Electronics Engineering or equivalent5 years successful experience in the development of complex electronic hardware device architectureStrong background in Electronics industrial design, including digital and analog circuit design, PCB design (PCBs, Flex PCBs, wiring), including component selection, schematic, layout, and production of electronic assembliesProficient in designing embedded hardware modules, including microcontroller and microprocessor-based systemsExperience in IoT, Connectivity modules (LTE), Video compression / encodingExperience with radio frequency circuit design and signal processing and conditioning for low noise is a plusExperience in V & V of hardware, software, and embedded systems, including product certification testing (electrical safety, EMC, RF)Experience in digital circuits and layout, including I2C, SPI, RS485, Ethernet, POE, WiFi is a plusProficiency with PCB design tools (preferably Altium Designer) and simulation tools, e.g SPICEWHAT WILL PUT YOU AHEAD
