MISSION
The mission of the Central File / Compliance Assistant Officer, within the Compliance Department, is to ensure the accuracy and integrity of the Central File and to handle administrative requests from internal and external stakeholders. The officer will also be responsible for reviewing essential documentation, overseeing name-screening processes and monitoring of transactions.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Documentation and File Management :
- Maintain the integrity and accuracy of both physical and electronic due diligence files
- Organize physical account opening due diligence files
- Archive and scan due diligence files
- Ensure the internal Central File database is kept updated by executing controls on data quality and integrity and investigating discrepancies
- Participate in the compliance formal verification of documentation, including control of signatures and request required documentation
- Support monitoring Anti-Money Laundering (AML) activities, including handling name screening alerts and reviewing transaction documentation
Collaboration and Communication :
Manage administrative requests, including KYC update requests from stakeholdersCollaborate with the Compliance team on various compliance projects and inquiriesLiaise with Sales, Onboarding, and Legal departments on ad hoc requestsREQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's or similar level of education3 to 5 years of experience in a similar position ideally in a central file, a compliance department, or an audit firmGood knowledge of the Swiss AML regulatory frameworkCOMPETENCIES, SKILLS AND BEHAVIORS
