The selected candidate will be responsible for the upkeep, qualification, and validation of analytical instruments and laboratory equipment across various departments and laboratory settings.

The scope of work includes overseeing equipment purchases, managing qualification and validation activities, and supporting the implementation of new software solutions, as well as carrying out the following task areas :

  • Supports planning, readiness, and execution tracking of projects.
  • Defines, coordinates, manages, and monitors all projects within the relevant scope.
  • Attends daily project update and stakeholder meetings, as well as weekly team meetings.
  • Manages and updates Power Project schedules based on input from key contributors.
  • Collaborates with EU and US teams to implement standardized project management practices.
  • Prepares and manages schedules for projects, including instrument / equipment qualification and new software implementation.
  • Generates routine project status updates for key stakeholders.
  • Works with US teams to develop and manage standard work templates for recurring projects.
  • Implements a standardized project prioritization process.
  • Supports project-specific purchase order preparation and budget tracking.

To be considered for this position, the ideal candidate must have :

  • Successfully completed commercial apprenticeship combined with a degree in project management or a successfully completed bachelor's degree in business administration.
  • At least 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably with hands-on project management responsibilities.
  • Previous experience in the biotech, pharmaceutical, or regulatory industry is an advantage
  • Proficient user in MS Project, Smart sheets, Power Project or other project management software is required.
  • Excellent command of English, good German skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as excellent organizational skills.
  • Strong professional and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and work within tight deadlines.
  • Strong analytical problem-solving skills.
