Our encapsulation platform provides opportunities for a wide range of applications and solutions for the cosmetic, food and pharmaceutical industries. After successfully launching our first products in cosmetics, we want to continue our success story and bring even more products to market.

The Opportunity

As Quality Manager you establish, maintain, and continuously improve a comprehensive Quality Management System (QMS) that ensures compliance, fosters collaboration of our production plant within Microcaps, with suppliers and third-party manufacturers. You ensure that the QMS addresses customer quality needs, and drives quality assurance across the product development and production value stream.

Tasks

The Impact

As a Quality Manager at Microcaps, you will be responsible for internal & external processes, interfaces and production :

• Development, implementation, and maintenance of a modern and applicable Quality Management System (QMS) that is in accordance with the requirements of ISO 22716 and other relevant standards of cosmetics manufacturing
• Conducting supplier qualification of our Swiss & international suppliers
• Developing and managing interface processes with suppliers and customers
• Responsibility for planning and conducting or accompanying external audits
• Ensuring the quality of work instructions, manufacturing regulations, and specifications
• Managing and conducting internal quality controls
• Managing quality deviations (OOS) and recalls, and steering the associated root cause analysis, including corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) with the relevant departments
• Supporting the quality system for infrastructure, hygiene & occupational safety at the production site
• Managing and participating in improvement projects (PDCA as well as DMAIC, etc.) of our cutting edge production plants
• Responsibility for planning and conducting internal and external audits
