Internship - AI Integration in Application Frameworks

We are seeking a motivated intern to join our Application Frameworks team. The intern will investigate how Artificial Intelligence (AI) can be integrated into our Java-based application frameworks (Quarkus and Spring Boot). The goal is to identify relevant use cases, evaluate technical feasibility, identify technologies and frameworks, and experiment with Model Context Protocol (MCP) capabilities.

YOUR ROLE

Research and propose potential AI use cases relevant to Financial Services enterprise applications.

Evaluate integration patterns for AI services within Quarkus and Spring Boot frameworks.

Experiment with Model Context Protocol (MCP) capabilities and document findings.

Develop proof-of-concept implementations to demonstrate selected AI use cases.

Collaborate with senior engineers and product owners to assess business value and technical fit.

Present results and recommendations to the Application Frameworks team.

YOUR PROFILE

Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.

Interest in AI / ML technologies and cloud platforms.

Familiarity with Java and modern application frameworks (Spring Boot, Quarkus).

Analytical mindset, curiosity, and willingness to learn.

Good communication skills

Fluent in English and French;

Resident in Switzerland or willing to relocate to Switzerland.
