Senior Software Engineer (m / f / d)

About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our dedicated product development team, working on Assetmax, our core financial software platform. This role is ideal for an experienced engineer with a background in the financial industry, preferably in wealth or asset management, who thrives in dynamic environments and wants to contribute both as a hands-on developer and a technical leader.

You will design, implement, and maintain complex software solutions, drive architectural discussions, mentor colleagues, and ensure technology is aligned with business goals. In addition, you will play an active role in supporting second-level client requests, improving development pipelines, and fostering collaboration across the team.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Java-based applications within the Assetmax product suite.
• Take ownership of critical features and deliver them end-to-end.
• Lead architectural discussions, propose improvements, and ensure scalable, maintainable solutions.
• Mentor junior developers, encourage knowledge sharing, and promote a culture of quality and collaboration.
• Collaborate with product managers, architects, and business stakeholders to align solutions with wealth management needs.
• Contribute to build / release pipelines using tools such as Jenkins and Nexus.
• Stay updated on emerging technologies and financial software trends to continuously improve the platform.
