Software Engineer (Test Engineer)

Your role

Are you passionate about Technology? Do you rigorously test every application, before handing it over to production?

We are looking for someone with that passion who can help us define the product test strategy and own the delivery of automation testing for a suite of products in a frequent software release cycle approach.

Your team

You will be working within the Wealth Management Chief Digital and Information Office organization, primarily within the product and software development function. The team is responsible front-to-back of a suite of IT service and products sitting on the global Wealth Management platform. You will be working with a product base team located around the globe (including APAC and Europe).

Your expertise

• bachelor degree or equivalent
• strongmunication skills (especially English) and ability to collaborate with a globally distributed team
• minimum 7+ years or more of hands-on experience in the area of Quality Assurance (QA), test automation and programming, preferably in financial industry
• experience in developing automated solutions for integration and regression testing, hands-on experience in testing distributed server-side applications, integration or E2E testing
• scripting / programming experience with Java is highly preferred
• experience in Java, REST and API testing tools
• experience in Continued Integration tools ( Jenkins, GitLabCI) and collaboration tools (JIRA)
• full understanding of SDLC, QA and Defect Lifecycle
• proficientmand of English language, in speaking and writing
• IT Industry recognized testing practitioner qualifications
• awareness of latest trending best practices, tools, techniques, tips, and tricks in automation testing or genuine willingness to develop your expertise in this area
• goodmunication skills, well-versed in speaking with people at all levels, across IT and business
• detail- and risk-oriented, with strong sense of responsibility and ownership
• fortable working independently as well as a good team player
