Teamlead Engineering and Product - UGC (m / f / d)

Salary 115’000 - 135’000 CHF per year

Requirements :

• Passion for content, community, and especially the variety of user-generated content (UGC), to drive UGC growth and community engagement and optimize platform integration and performance

Experience and expertise of at least 8 years in software engineering and development, preferably with a high-traffic travel or media platform and a proven track record of driving technical innovations that contribute to business growth by leading and scaling engineering teams in a fast-paced environment

Demonstrated ability to lead, develop, and inspire cross-functional engineering teams. Expanding skills in fostering a culture of innovation, continuous learning, and technical excellence

Exceptional communication skills to translate complex technical concepts into compelling narratives and the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and align stakeholders around technical strategies

Hunger and pragmatism to combine a pioneering spirit for new technologies with the ability to effectively implement innovative solutions that align with long-term vision

Fluency in English; additional languages (especially German) are a plus

Product Development

You define and prioritize UGC strategies and roadmaps aligned with company goals, leveraging market insights and user feedback.

You combine strong technical skills with user needs and product ownership capabilities to develop products with a strong value proposition.

You boost user engagement by fostering a travel community and incentivizing participation.

Ensuring seamless UGC integration – beneficial for platform growth and users.

You utilize analytics tools and establish data-driven decisions.

Leadership & Team Management

Lead and mentor a cross-functional team, promoting a results-oriented and learning-focused culture.

You align teams with business strategy through clear goals and encourage skill development.

Mentor developers to enhance career development and technical skills.

You show high autonomy, proactivity, and a results-driven attitude.

Execution and Communication
