Description

We are looking for a Global Product Support (GPS) Manager for the Grid Components’ Product Lines of the Global Product Group (GPG) Circuit Breakers and Grid Components in our business unit High Voltage Products.

Your technical background and knowledge of High Voltage products, your ability to lead with a positive mindset, your analytical capabilities, your strong drive for collaboration, and your ambition to maintain value-creating high-voltage products suit you well for this position.

Responsibilities

Define, continuously improve and ensure adherence to BU / GPG GPS processes and tools with maximum commonality across GPGs

Functionally lead the Grid Components’ GPS Portfolio Coordinators

Shape and manage the Grid Components’ GPS organization, its footprint and annual budget together with GPG Technology Manager

Facilitate the collaboration and information flow across various products and platforms between GPS teams and all relevant functions within and across GPGs

Lead or contribute to GPS-, transfer-of-product-, quality- and design-to-value projects, product harmonizations, root-cause-analyses and audits

Collaborate with other GPG GPS Managers to define and drive common activities across GPGs, e.g. HVPLM strategy implementation, product quality improvement, or harmonization of processes and tools

This position might be combined with one of the Grid Components’ GPS Portfolio Coordinator roles

Background

Bachelor’s degree in engineering or in a related field; Master’s degree preferred

At least 10 years of professional experience in high-voltage products, e.g. in product development, quality, engineering or production

Excellent leadership skills with a proven track-record in project-, line- or change management

Strong communication and interpersonal skills and ambition to work in a global and diverse organization

Background and experience in the manufacturing industry is beneficial

Fluent in English (written and spoken)

Readiness for global travel approximately 10%
