Team Leader Accounting AR AP (80-100%)

You take the lead on the AP and AR processes, manage priorities, resolve issues and consolidate feedbacks to report to the accounting manager. Following the implementation of SAP S4 Hana (January 2024), you drive improvement in collaboration with other departments (Sales, Procurement) to gain efficiency in the operations and increase the quality of financial information (monthly closing), in compliance with regulations and Internal Control requirements.

• Lead and oversea daily activities of Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable by coordinating the team of 3-4 people and be their key point of contact
• Be S4 / Hana key user for AR and AP incl. VIM Optical Character Recognition (OCR) tool and Concur (Travel expenses tool)
• Ensure high quality services in compliance with financial regulations
• Create and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)
• Identify and implement process improvements and controls related to AP and AR
• Participate in monthly and annual closing process
• Provide analysis and KPI's and support for internal and external audit
• Bachelor Degree in Finance or equivalent
• Proven practical experience in AR / AP and General Ledger Accounting (GL)
• Solid knowledge in VAT, end to end processes of Order to Cash (OTC), Purchase to Pay (P2P)
• Practical experience with SAP S4 / HANA a plus
• Open-minded team player with strong interpersonal and leadership skills
• Analytical mindset, critical thinking and problem solving
• Fluent in English and French, good command in German is a plus
