Biotech Development Senior Scientist (ADCs)

Under the responsibility of the Biotech Development Manager, the role brings a strong technical expertise to the Pharmaceutical Development Department for the supply of biological active compounds.

The Biotech Development Senior Scientist participates in matrix-based teams with a strong spirit of collaboration. The role contributes to further develop the ADC platform (such as antibody humanization, antibody optimization, developability assessment, process development…) and to establish strategies for multi-specific antibodies for therapeutic development. The Biotech Development Senior Scientist has a deep understanding of the competitive landscape and the technologies used to develop biological assets for oncology. The role also coordinates and oversees technical and GMP activities managed by selected CDMOs.

Your Mission.

• Act as CMC Project Lead and Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Antibody Drug Conjugate (ADC) projects.
• Lead, plan, and manage the development of biological active compounds, tech transfer, scale up, as well as GMP manufacturing to supply clinical material for Phase I to phase III.
• Plan, execute, and document the design, early production, and characterization of monoclonal, bispecific, and new antibody constructs intended for the ADC constructs.
• Participate as an antibody engineering expert in multiple project teams for assets at different stages of the discovery process.
• Actively participate in early development teams and CMC project teams for the antibody developability assessment (primary sequence analysis, binding analysis, etc.). Identify strategies to construct new bispecific antibodies and new antibody formats.
• Propose optimization of antibody production and purification by improving solubility, stability, and expression yield using rational design.
• Monitor new antibody-based technologies, innovations and competitors.
• Participate in vendor selection for the production of antibodies and derivatives from R&D scale to GMP scale
• Collaborate in intellectual property searches and support in patent drafting linked to antibodies and ADCs. Explore patent literature to identify known antibody sequences against targets of interest.
• Support our Search & Evaluation team to evaluate potential new assets.
