For our locations in Basel, we are looking for a motivated and flexible Reception & Cash Services employee (60%).
What would your role be?
Various operational tasks within the Cash Services and Reception Team :
Such as Opening and providing access to the safe deposit boxes; Conducting transaction reports and controls; Daily control of cash holdings;
Selling / Buying foreign currency
In this role you will also ensure a smooth business flow and process client transactions at the cash desk.
Warm welcome and support of our discerning group of guests at our Basel location.
Completion of general administrative tasks, including logistics and postal tasks.
Access control to buildings, including management of employee and visitor badges.
Booking, coordination and the maintenance of the meeting rooms.
You are responsible for the operation of the alarm center.
Sporadic assignments / attendance at evening events / customer events.
What are we looking for?
Banking apprenticeship and 3-5 years of Banking experience preferably with direct client interactions (e.g., Experiences at Cash Desk)
Strong interpersonal skills and enthusiasm for direct client interactions, adhering to Vontobel Client Experience Standards.
Detail-oriented, agile, with a hands-on mentality, team player, and strong willingness to learn.
Fluent in German and English and effective communication skills. Additional language skills are a plus.
Good PC user skills (MS Office : Outlook, Word and Excel)
High degree of flexibility and willingness to travel to support colleagues at Vontobel locations throughout Switzerland.
Very good organizational skills, independent and precise way of working, impeccable and discreet manners, and empathy.
