About the Role

We’re looking for a Network Engineer to support our client in Zurich with the design, implementation, and maintenance of modern network infrastructures. If you enjoy working with cutting-edge technologies, solving complex problems, and taking ownership of your projects, this could be the right fit for you.

What You’ll Do

Design, configure, and maintain network equipment (routers, switches, firewalls)

Troubleshoot and resolve network issues, ensuring minimal downtime

Monitor network performance and proactively address potential issues

Collaborate with internal and external teams to implement new solutions

Document network designs, configurations, and procedures

Ensure network security and compliance with internal and external standards

Participate in network optimization and modernization projects

Help improve internal processes and technical documentation

What You Bring

A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field

4–7 years of experience as a Network Engineer or in a similar role

Strong knowledge of networking protocols and technologies (e.g., TCP / IP, VLANs, VPNs, BGP, OSPF)

Experience with Cisco, Juniper, or other major network hardware

Familiarity with network security principles and best practices

A reliable and independent working style

Interest in new technologies and a drive for continuous improvement

A team player mindset with strong communication skills

The ability to stay calm and focused during busy times

Fluency in German and English is required
