About Liom

Liom is a Swiss health-tech startup dedicated to revolutionizing the field of personalized health monitoring. Our objective is to develop the first health wearable monitoring glucose non-invasively. We will launch our wearable as a consumer product in the EU in H1’2027, and then as a medically cleared product in the US. Our team consists of over 80 staff, including more than 50 PhDs, with deep expertise in entrepreneurship, product development, and the required engineering as well as scientific disciplines. We are operating out of our lab facilities in Pfäffikon SZ, Switzerland.

Your mission

• Apply your creativity at the intersection of cutting edge machine learning, optics / photonics, and technology transfer / business development
• Plan and organize the development of proof-of-concept for early stage innovation
• Critically evaluate scientific and technical interdisciplinary challenges
• Strategize scientific and technical progress across many disciplines including, but not limited to machine learning, photonics, biomedical sciences, and electronics
• Inspire and identify intellectual property in the developments of the organization
• Coordinate the securing and maintenance of intellectual property rights
• Work closely across functions to develop both the scientific aspects of the technical strategy and the business strategy
