Lumiphase was founded in 2020, after nearly 10 years of research within IBM. We currently have 50+ strong talents on the team, and we are actively growing. Tasks This position is for a student seeking a 30 – 50% (1.5-2.5 days / week) pensum role to gain hands-on lab experience in an exciting and fast-growing industrial startup. The main tasks of this role are to support our R&D team with operating wafer level test systems as well as to keep the inventory of our lab up to date. Requirements We are seeking a candidate interested in operating state-of-the-art photonic test systems. What you should bring : Strong interest in hands-on work with delicate semiconductor components / wafers and electrical / optical measurement equipment Some Python knowledge (e.g. Matplotlib figure creation, running code in IDE, reading existing code...)
