We are currently recruiting a Finance Manager / Finance Business Partner (m/w/d) for a 12-month assignment with our client in Zurich.

About the Role
Reporting directly to the Head of Finance, you will play a pivotal role in financial planning, reporting, and business support activities. You will help ensure robust financial management while supporting key strategic initiatives, including ERP implementation, process shaping, and post-acquisition integration activities.
This position offers broad exposure across the business and the opportunity to work closely with senior leadership in a dynamic and fast-evolving environment.
Key Responsibilities
As Finance Manager / Finance Business Partner, you will:
- Lead the monthly financial close process in collaboration with our external accounting partners.
- Lead periodic financial reporting, including reports for funding agencies, collaboration partners, and corporate stakeholders.
- Support the Head of Finance in the preparation of annual budgets, periodic forecasts, and long-term financial planning.
- Act as a trusted business partner to project managers and cross-functional teams providing operational support and financial analyses.
- Contribute to the successful integration into new corporate environment including the implementation of a new ERP system (SAP S/4HANA) and help establish efficient reporting processes and controls.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance financial processes, reporting quality, and operational efficiency.
Your Profile:
- Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in finance, controlling, FP&A, audit, or financial consulting.
- Experience in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or life sciences industry.
- Experience working in a structured multinational corporate environment.
- General understanding of US GAAP and/or IFRS.
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
- Experience supporting ERP implementation or finance transformation projects.
- IT certifications or hands-on experience with information technology systems.
- HR certification or demonstrated experience in human resources functions.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
- Proficiency in German.
