- Your main responsibilities :
- Mains tasks
- Negotiation scope :
- Assortment and pricing with key Travel Retailers
- Best location for SENSAI in the shops
- Best promotions for the brand
- Retailers’ conditions
- Suppliers offers (Backwalls for example)
- Staff Management :
- Manage and motivate SENSAI advisors (under direct or indirect payroll)
- Regularly exchange with Advisors to understand challenges and opportunities
- Basic administration (staff costs, bonusses, staff product orders, holidays)
- Launches and promotions :
- You make sure the stores and staff have necessary tools to work with (testers, samples, gifts)
- You forecast the needs for novelties launches a year in advance
- You make sure the trainings are organized in due timing in the best set up possible
- Shop Environment :
- VMD coordination with Kanebo Cosmetics Europe Marketing Team
- Make sure new VMD is implemented in the trade and with online platforms (Click&Collect)
- Feedback Marketing Team to continue improving SENSAI in-store visibility
- Orders :
- Monthly : forecast of sales items for Travel Retail with other Area Managers
- Quarterly : order PM material (testers, samples, other promotion material)
- Seasonally : order new products (saleable / promotional material)
- Analyse :
- Sell-in / Sell-out Data to evaluate trends and capitalize on success lines and boost lower performing ones
- Full TR P&L follow up
- Manage monthly Sell-in Forecasts
- General Contacts :
- Connect virtually or physically with head buyers or shop managers (through store visits) / Participate at Cannes TFWA
- Scope and key mission :
- Work in the Kanebo Cosmetics Europe Sales organisation (part of Kao Corporation) in Zürich Office.
- Manage and develop SENSAI among existing and new key EMEA Travel Retail Partners.
The brand SENSAI is currently in a strong expansion phase in Travel Retail
- Your mission is to propose and implement the appropriate commercial strategy for each Travel Retailer under your responsibility.
- You will seek, evaluate, and negotiate new Travel Retail opportunities in the region.
- You will collaborate with other cosmetics brands of the Kao Corporation
- Within Kanebo Cosmetics Europe : Marketing, training, customer service, accounting, business planning and logistics
- Other brands of Kao Corporations (Kao Beauty Brands) working in Travel Retail (Molton Brown London for example)
- Various suppliers (especially VMD)

- IT : MS Office 365 and SAP
- Used to work with P&L
- Good knowledge of supply chains
- Comprehend the concept of profitable growth
- Exchange rate and pricing knowledge
- English a must, other languages appreciated
- Experience required
- Min 2-3 years in Travel Retail as Area Sales Manager or Key Account Manager with luxury goods (ideally cosmetics)
