Clinical Development Lead

The Clinical Development Lead will play a pivotal role in leading the clinical development of innovative therapies targeting neurodegenerative diseases, including Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s. Reporting to the Head of Clinical Development, this role is responsible for clinical strategy, trial design, and oversight, working closely with the biomarker and clinical operations teams to ensure adherence to the highest scientific and regulatory standards.
Responsibilities
- Drive and oversee the planning, execution, and data interpretation for early-phase clinical trials
- Lead clinical strategy and design of study protocols
- Develop and implement clinical and translational biomarker strategies
- Ensure medical oversight, monitoring safety, and adherence to GCP throughout all study phases.
- Collaborate with global stakeholders, including KOLs, external experts, regulatory authorities, and advisory boards.
- Provide medical expertise to support in-licensing, co-development agreements, and strategic partnerships.
Requirements
MD or MD / PhD with specialization in Neurology or Psychiatry.Minimum of 8 years in clinical development, focused on phase I and II for neuroinflammation or neuroimmunologyExtensive experience in drug development in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry is a must
