For one of our clients, we are looking for a Compliance Officer / Senior Compliance Officer FR / ENG in 100% permanent contract and based in Geneva. The will join the compliance department of the bank. Compliance Officer / Senior Compliance Officer FR / ENGOur client is an bank well established in Switzerland and other financial places. within the Compliance department ;Reviewing account openings from X (CDB / LBA) and tax perspective, and prepare files for the CCO in cases involving high-risk clients ;Conducting periodic account reviews ;Following cases and carry out when necessary ;Preparing for reporting to MROS and other authorities when required ;Monitoring transactions flagged as high-risk ;Handling alerts to sanctions and politically exposed persons (PEPs) ;Performing ad-hoc compliance checks on areas such as AML, cross-border activities, market abuse, etc ;Ensuring the correct of Swiss (LFINMA, LBA, OBA-FINMA, CDB, FINMA circulars, etc.) in the review of frameworks, internal processes, and projects ;Providing guidance to Bank employees on compliance including AML, cross-border and market integrity ;Staying up to with compliance developments and contribute to knowledge sharing within the team ;Reporting regularly to the Head of Compliance on completed tasks ;Assisting in the of internal and external audits to compliance and support auditors during their reviews ;Training of internal colleagues ;Reporting ad-hoc to the Management to the day to day in the office. ProfileDegree in Compliance, Law or a field ;Significant and similar experience of five years minimum X Officer / Senior Compliance Officer within a Swiss Bank ;Strong knowledge of AML / CFT and compliance standards ;Excellent language skills in French ;Very good language skills in English ;Other language as an asset ;Strong analytical skills and to detail ;Ability to work in a fast-paced, multicultural environment ;Stable during her / his career ;Discretionary and sense of confidentiality.
