About the role :
The position is very dynamic and enhances the cross-functional support with many departments in the different countries and with our Headquarters in Italy. As our Accounting Manager, responsible of the financial statement of different companies in Switzerland and foreign branches, you ensure compliance with standards in the different countries and lead your accounting team to success. Your expertise will help us maintain accurate financial records and support strategic decision-making.
Key responsabilities :
- Supervising the daily financial accounting, including accounts payable / receivable, general ledger
- Prepare and review complex journal entries, reconciliations, intercompany transactions and allocations
- Ensure compliance with Swiss statutory accounting standards (Swiss OR) and international financial reporting standards (IFRS, FINMA)
- Coordinate internal and external audits
- Manage and support Tax matters, direct / indirect taxes and compliance
- Management of bank compliance
- Swiss Legal activities
- Lead and mentor a team of 5 accounting professionals, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment
- Support process improvements and digital transformation initiatives
Qualifications
Certified accountant with Swiss Federal Diploma in Accounting & ControllingSwiss Certified Expert in Accounting & Controlling is an advantageStrong knowledge of Swiss accounting standards and regulationsStrong knowledge of Swiss OR and IFRSExperience with internal & external audit processesMinimum 5+ years of experience in accounting / financeCompetencies to coach / manage a teamTechnical skills
ERP Systems (SAP and Dynamics is an advantage)MS Office & Advanced Excel skillsHyperion consolidation reportingLanguage
Fluency in English and German is requiredGood level in FrenchAs an Italian company, Italian basics are appreciatedPersonal skills
