Responsibilities :
As Regional Supply Planner (Engineered Materials), you will be responsible for balancing the short term and long term supply plans and inventory optimization for the assigned business lines within the Engineered Materials (EM) business segment.
Your main responsibilities are :
- Create and maintain a long-range supply plan at the business line / regional / monthly level
- Conduct long-term raw material planning, both in SAP and Advanced Planning System (Blue Yonder)
- Optimize supply decisions to most efficiently / profitably meet demand over a 24 month horizon
- Coordinate regional demand and supply with external suppliers, tollers, and joint ventures
- Evaluate scenarios to ensure that global and regional margin is maximized
- Provide optimization output and global supply constraints to master production planners and commercial organization
- Maintain supply planning related master data, both in SAP and Advanced Planning System (Blue Yonder) (., stocking strategies, supply constraints)
- Provide input for S&OP meetings for long term planning horizons; provide recommendations to supply chain and commercial leaders and potential plan improvements
- Track key performance indicators, conduct root-cause analysis of issues, and drive continuous improvement efforts
Qualifications :
What YOU will bring to the team :
- University degree in Supply Chain, Logistics or a related field
- MBA, MS or related advanced degree preferred
- 4-6 years of related experience in S&OP and / or supply chain planning
- APICS or related certification preferred
- Strong analytical, problem solving and written / verbal communication skills
- Good leadership & presentation skills
- 2-3 years of Experience working in a SAP planning environment
- Experience working in advanced planning systems preferred (., JDA / Blue Yonder)
- Proficiency in using Excel, PowerPoint and Microsoft Office Tools
- Chemical industry experience preferred
