TotalEnergies installed its European trading hub across in Geneva, which now bring together very large teams around trading activities : TotalEnergies Trading & Shipping (T&S) and TotalEnergies Gas and Power (TGP).

T&S is a trading company in charge of all physical trading and shipping of crude oil and refined products on behalf of the TotalEnergies Company. It has been an active participant all over the supply chain as well as on the derivatives paper market in order to manage the market risk for a long time. As such, it operates in fast-evolving market dynamics influenced by internal and external factors that require constant adaptation and evolution.

Activités

What you will do

As a Financial Controller Assistant you will report to the Senior Financial Controller.

The Trading business is fast-moving, dynamic and complex environment : it is necessary to understand the business and react quickly. The key to success in this constantly changing environment is control.

You will be part of a dynamic team of 4 persons in Geneva within the Financial Control department.

In this environment, your missions will be the following :

• Operational Accounting Tasks :
• Invoice reception (internal and external suppliers)
• Invoice tracking (you are the point of contact for suppliers)
• Invoice validation process
• Control and assignment of cost centers
• Creation of IT asset records
• SAP support and technical reference
• Participation in monthly / quarterly closings :
• Calculation of amounts to be recharged
• Tracking of recharges to other entities and follow-up with local accounting teams if necessary
• Follow-up of operating expenses, IT recharges.
• Loading into our Overhead software (Anaplan)
• Follow-up, analysis, and forecasting of operating expenses :
• Participation in the preparation of the operating costs budget, in particular the monitoring of staff numbers and associated overhead
• Quarterly update of the T&S headcount database
• Analysis versus Budget on a quarterly basis
• Monthly monitoring of overheads and analysis of variances in relation to the budget
• Adaptation, optimization and simplification of existing tasks;
• Assistance to the team on other scopes and topics.
