Our client are innovators in the development of innovative current sensor products driving the future of sustainable mobility and clean energy solutions in Munich.

As part of their R&D team, your expertise will be instrumental in the development of cutting-edge current sensor products.

In this role, you will be responsible for defining, developing, and optimizing semiconductor based current sensor systems to meet specific application requirements. You will closely collaborate with cross functional teams, conduct feasibility studies, write product specification, and ensure compliance with industry and

automotive standards.

This role is a hybrid role between Product Architecture and Application Engineering.

Key responsibilities

  • Responsible for defining new product specifications and architecture.
  • Conduct system and application-level simulations and feasibility studies.
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams to ensure products are designed to specifications.
  • Support product validation and application-level testing, including test plan development and execution.
  • Provide technical support to customers and assist with design-in activities.
  • Generate product documentation, including datasheets, test reports, and application notes.

Requirements :

  • Strong understanding of semiconductor physics and fabrication processes.
  • Proficiency in both analog and digital electronics (signal conditioning, amplification, and analog-to-digital).
  • Knowledge of power electronics applications would be a plus (DC / DC, On-board chargers, inverters).
  • Analytical mindset, ability to analyze complex data, troubleshoot issues and propose innovative solutions.
  • Programming skills in MATLAB, C / C+ / Python, experience with Simulink would be a plus.
  • Master's degree in electrical or electronic engineering with a minimum of 5 years of experience.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
