Product Owner - Oracle TMS

We are seeking a strategic and business-oriented IT Product Owner to lead the evolution and product roadmap of a global Transport Management System (TMS) .

Serving a global logistics operator within the MSC group – specialized in containerized and non-containerized land transportation management - the role acts as a primary interface between HQ business governance stakeholders, local operations’ teams, and the MSC Technology project team responsible for project management, functional and technical delivery, rollout execution and support.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and maintain a multi‑year, outcomes‑based product roadmap aligned to HQ strategy, budget, and transformation goals
• Co-develop scope, KPIs, and success criteria with HQ business governance and site stakeholders; track benefit realization across deployments.
• Serve as a key business-facing representative for the TMS program, managing decisions, trade-offs, priorities and deviations from the core template.
• Own and manage the enterprise product backlog, balancing core model evolution, rollout needs, and run/support activities.
• Define and enforce - in cooperation with the functional and technical teams - standards for localization, reuse, and release gates; ensure clear acceptance criteria for all deliverables.
• Partner with enterprise architecture and technical leads to ensure alignment with corporate standards and vendor reference architectures.
• Govern the scope, deliverables, and knowledge transfer from external integrators, ensuring comprehensive documentation and playbooks are created for internal use.
• Facilitate shadowing and capability building for the internal IT teams to ensure a smooth transition post initial rollouts.
• Drive continuous improvement cycles based on feedback and performance metrics.
• Run structured go/no-go criteria with IT and Business stakeholders; lead post go-live debriefs and benefit tracking.
• Ensure readiness across business and technical teams for each deployment phase.

Ideal Candidate Profile

• Proven experience as a Product Owner or similar role in large-scale logistics platforms’ implementations.
• Solid understanding of containerized and non-containerized multimodal transportation processes and dynamics
• Demonstrated ability to partner with operations stakeholders and convert business requirements into deliverable plans.
• Strong backlog management, value‑based prioritization, and end‑to‑end delivery
• Ability to balance strategic thinking with operational execution in multi‑site contexts.
• Familiarity with tier‑1 TMS vendors and operating models
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Fluent English; other languages are a plus.
• Solid understanding of Oracle OTM is a strong plus
