About the job

Based at the Mandarin Oriental Savoy, Zurich within the Culinary Department in Zurich, the Banquet Sous Chef is responsible for state-of-the-art culinary experiences. The Banquet Sous Chef reports to the Banquet Head Chef.

YOUR TASKS

As Banquet Sous Chef you will be responsible for the following tasks :

• Working under the guidance of the Banquet Head Chef, be able to organize the team and workflow to execute the menu dishes according to the recipes and user guides in a high volume atmosphere for our guests.
• Lead and drive the team to maintain the highest level of productivity and efficiency in overall food preparation in the F&B outlets plus in-room dining.
• Be able to project and procure the adequate amount of products and prepare in timely manner.
• Demonstrate the ultimate level of food safety, understanding HACCP principles, possess the highest personal hygiene.
