Internship Testing Technologies, Emissions (6-month-contract)
Job summary
In this role, you will contribute to the decarbonisation of the marine industry by supporting WinGD testing activities. With the fast development of technologies based on conventional and future fuels, WinGD engines are extensively tested to maximise performance and minimise their impact on the environment. Your job is to support the team with the preparation of testing equipment, the development of new measurement systems, and the maintenance of the WinGD testing infrastructure. Your focus will be on emissions measurements.
Responsibilities
- Investigation of measurement methods for fine particles
- Preparation of measurement equipment to ensure availability and readiness
- Support of in-house testing activities and workshop maintenance
- Liaising with other teams to ensure effective preparation and execution of testing activities
- Evaluation, development, and validation of new measurement technologies
- Supporting the improvement of internal processes and work methods
Requirements
BSc in Mechanical Engineering (completed or in progress) or a related fieldHands-on mentalityAnalytical and structured working styleGood communication and reporting skillsExperience with measurement equipmentAbility to plan work according to deadlinesKnowledge and experience with two-stroke combustion enginesFluent in English; German is desirableOur offer :
