Are you passionate about understanding user behaviour and shaping user experiences?

Do you thrive on uncovering insights that drive product improvements? We are currently seeking a talented and experienced UX Experience Researcher to join a dynamic team dedicated to enhancing Google Maps and Google Trends.

Position Overview:

As a UX Experience Researcher, you will play a crucial role in advancing the usability and functionality. Your primary responsibility will be to conduct in-depth research to gather user insights, identify pain points, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement user-centric design improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan, conduct, and analyze various user research methods such as interviews, surveys, usability studies, and field studies to gather actionable insights.
Work closely with product managers, designers, and engineers to translate research findings into actionable recommendations that drive product enhancements.
Advocate for the user by championing user-centric design principles throughout the product development lifecycle.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to prioritize research opportunities and inform product decisions.
Create and present compelling reports, presentations, and findings to stakeholders to influence design and product strategy.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Psychology, Sociology, Anthropology, or a related field.
Proven experience in conducting user research for digital products, preferably in the field of mapping/navigation or data analytics.
Proficiency in a variety of qualitative and quantitative research methods and tools.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights.
Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to articulate research findings and recommendations to diverse audiences.
A collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
Fluent in written and spoken English.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience working with large-scale datasets and data visualization tools.
Familiarity with UX/UI design principles and methodologies.
Knowledge of statistical analysis and experimental design.
Previous experience with international research and understanding of global user behaviors and preferences.
