Food Safety Officer and Compliance Coordinator

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced

Food Safety Officer and Compliance Coordinator
to oversee food safety and compliance processes in our organization. This role is critical to ensuring that our operations meet all legal and regulatory standards for food safety and quality.

Main Responsibilities

Develop, implement, and maintain food safety protocols and compliance programs.

Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with food safety regulations.

Train staff on food safety practices and monitor their implementation.

Investigate and address food safety incidents, implementing corrective actions as necessary.

Stay updated on food safety laws, regulations, and industry best practices.

Prepare and maintain documentation related to food safety and compliance.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality and safety throughout the supply chain.

Required Profile

Education : Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Microbiology, or a related field. Certifications in food safety (e.g., HACCP, ISO 22000) are a plus.

Experience : At least 3 years of experience in food safety, quality control, or compliance roles.

Skills : Strong understanding of food safety regulations, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.

Qualities : Strong organizational abilities, effective communication skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Languages : Proficiency in English; knowledge of additional languages is an asset.
