Description de posteBSc or MSc in Computer Science or a related field. A few years of experience in a similar position, ideally in a small company environment. Strong technical background with proficiency in Python and JavaScript / TypeScript . Hands-on experience with key libraries and frameworks, such as Pandas , NumPy , and Vue.js . Nice to Have] Familiarity with cloud-native architectures (e.g., Google Cloud Platform). Nice to Have] Experience working with the Snowflake Data Platform . A strong drive to tackle complex challenges and quickly learn new technologies . Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly and effectively in English . Comfortable working in a small company environment (we are Based in Switzerland , ideally near the Lausanne area. Legally authorized to work in Switzerland. Nice to Have] Interest or experience in investments , for example knowledge of the wealth and asset management industry. Nice to Have] Knowledge of French and / or German . Tasks
- Design, develop, and maintain our diverse web platforms , ensuring a seamless user experience and scalable solutions.
- Architect and refine our data pipelines and data warehouse to guarantee high-quality, reliable data that drives informed decision-making.
- Design, develop, and thoroughly document our internal backtesting Python library , supporting robust and efficient strategy evaluations.
- Collaborate with the investment team to refine existing trading strategies and implement innovative new ones.
- Propose and explore new ideas to enhance our investment processes , from data acquisition and analysis to trade execution.
- Make a meaningful impact across the company’s entire tech stack, working closely with the CTO and a fellow Software Engineer to achieve ambitious goals.
