Description de posteFluent in English (C2 level) and fluent in Swiss German or German (C1 level required) Enthusiastic about creating content, including writing copy, creating, and editing videos Educational background in marketing and / or communications (first professional experience is a plus) Familiarity with tools like HubSpot, Canva, and WordPress (prior experience is a bonus, not a must) Basic understanding of SEO best practices Analytical mindset with a hands-on attitude towards new tasks and challenges Willingness to work from our offices near Winterthur station at least 2 days per week (remote work possible 2–3 days per week) Possession of all necessary permits to legally work in the Canton of Zurich / Switzerland 5 weeks of holiday per year We organise a variety of events with our team and volunteers Flexible working hours and the possibility of 3 days of home office per week A workplace 2 minutes from Winterthur train station in the centre of the city Coffee and soft drinks, as well as fruits, are free with us We offer two weeks per year "work from anywhere".

The Swiss Startup Association is the national umbrella organization of the Swiss startups.
As part of our small team, you use your entrepreneurial drive to support and engage our Swiss startup community.
Tasks

- Manage and grow our community by driving engagement across dedicated channels (Social Media, Slack, WhatsApp,etc.)
- Handle community administration and respond to inquiries from startups, investors, and other stakeholders
- Update and maintain the SSA website, while creating content such as images, videos, blog articles, and marketing materials
- Design and develop flyers, brochures, and other collateral for SSA events and partnerships
- Take ownership of smaller marketing and communications projects, from planning to execution
- Provide support to SSA team members across various initiatives as needed

The Swiss Startup Association (SSA) is the umbrella organisation and the voice of Swiss startups. As a sector-independent non-profit organisation, the SSA gives startups a strong voice vis-à-vis politics, business and the public and works to improve the conditions for startups in Switzerland.
Beyond its political engagement, the SSA fosters a community for startups, recognizing the unique challenges they face. Through networking opportunities, educational sessions, and practical services, the SSA collaborates with industry partners to offer tailored support and valuable resources to guide founders on their entrepreneurial journey.
