Facility Manager

CK QLS is looking for a Project Manager Facility Manager to join a Global Biopharmaceutical company based in Lucerne on a one year contract basis.

The Position in the organization :

Reporting into the Associate Director Facilities & Engineering WAG, as Projects, Sustainability and reliability Engineer you understand and realize GWES Facilities Management Strategies and Priorities at site level. You will lead and ensure compliant delivery and coordination of the GWES Projects on site and develop and manage a program of sustainability and reliability engineering aligned with Company’s goals, site masterplanning and asset management programs.

You will understand client business strategies and ensure GWES strategies are focused to meet business needs.

Function Responsibility :

  • Supporting to lead the Integrated Facility Management service provider.
  • Experience with GMP environment, sustainability (advantage)
  • English, German B1 level (German is important for understanding legal aspects)
  • Bachelor or Master degree is a must
  • Engineering background (the candidate can come from food or power plant field)
  • Experience 3-5 years
  • Duration : 1 year (on-site, maybe 1 day home office)

Project Management :

  • Project execution and oversight to ensure compliance with procurement policies and engineering standards.
  • Demonstrate financial skills in managing and controlling projects, including capital planning.
  • Manage projects to achieve engineering and security standards.
  • Ensure financial control and monitor project expenses.
  • Ownership of project Management of Change (MOC) for GWES projects
  • Quality Management

  • Partner with the quality organization and support quality management and deviation management.
  • Support site clients and GWES Strategies :

  • Support site clients in understanding GWES priorities, strategies, projects, and matters related to the delivery of the GWES portfolio.
  • Proactively initiate actions that add value through innovation and operational excellence.
  • Build sponsorship and support for GWES and IFM strategy.
  • Compliance

  • Represent GWES for engineering compliance program (HAZOP, PHA, PSM)
  • Build a culture of Safety, Quality and Engineering standards compliance across the WAG site stakeholders and with the outsourced IFM provider.
  • Own construction site safety for GWES project activities.
  • Manage safety system program ownership for GWES (SO) with SSO outsourced to IFM.
  • Support internal and external compliance audit programs and audits from regulatory authorities. Enhance existing self-inspection and site audit programs to proactively identify and correct compliance issues with the IFM partner.
