Our international Business Development and Marketing team is looking for an experienced, commercially minded and motivated professional who is keen to take on a broad and challenging role within a dynamic international environment.
Reporting to the Head of BD & Marketing and working closely with partners and colleagues across the firm, the Senior Business Development and Marketing Executive will play a central role in developing and delivering the firm’s business development, marketing and communications strategy across all offices and practice groups.

This is a senior, hands-on position requiring sound judgement, strong drafting skills and the confidence to advise and work directly with senior stakeholders. The successful candidate will take ownership of significant projects and workstreams, identify opportunities and help translate the firm’s strategic priorities into practical and effective business development activity.

The role will be based in Geneva.

SENIOR BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT AND MARKETING EXECUTIVE - GENEVA

Responsibilities include:

• Work closely with partners and practice groups to develop and deliver business development plans and priorities;
• Lead strategic pitches, proposals, RFPs and tenders;
• Manage the firm’s legal directory and award submissions;
• Support client development, targeting and relationship management through the firm’s CRM and other market intelligence;
• Develop and deliver marketing, communications and profile-raising initiatives;
• Manage client events, conferences, sponsorships and other business development activities;
• Identify new business opportunities and advise partners on how best to pursue them;
• Lead key BD and marketing projects, while supporting the Head of BD & Marketing and wider team.

What we look for:

• At least five years’ business development and marketing experience within a law firm
• Confidence and credibility to work directly with partners and senior stakeholders
• Demonstrable experience managing pitches, proposals, legal directory submissions and marketing projects
• Strong commercial awareness and the ability to understand the firm’s practices, clients and markets
• Highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines and stakeholders
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering consistently high-quality work
• Experience using CRM systems and an interest in using data and technology to
• support business development
• Excellent written and spoken English is essential; French, German and/ or Spanish would be highly desirable
