ASAP: Lead Data Analyst - Commercial Finance (m/w/d)

Our client is a well-established international business seeking an experienced Data Analyst for an urgent interim assignment. This 20-week contract offers the opportunity to play a key role in delivering a strategically important analytics and reporting solution with a target start date in mid-October. Lead the design, build, and implementation of an automated EMEA omnichannel revenue dashboard Consolidate and analyse data across multiple commercial channels and markets Develop scalable data models and semantic layers to support reporting and analytics needs Create impactful dashboards and visualisations for senior stakeholders and business leaders Translate business requirements into actionable analytics solutions through close stakeholder engagement Drive automation initiatives to improve reporting efficiency and data accessibility Ensure high standards of data quality, governance, and reporting accuracy Partner closely with Finance, Commercial Analytics, Data Engineering, and business stakeholders to ensure successful delivery Build a high-impact automated EMEA revenue dashboard Partner directly with senior analytics and finance leaders Bachelor's or Master's degree in a quantitative discipline such as Data Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, Finance, or similar 5+ years of experience in Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, Commercial Analytics, or Financial Analytics environments Strong expertise in SQL and advanced analytical techniques Proven track record building automated dashboards and executive reporting solutions Experience designing semantic layers and scalable data models for BI platforms Hands-on experience with data visualisation tools; Looker experience is highly advantageous Exposure to cloud data platforms, ideally GCP and BigQuery Strong understanding of commercial performance metrics, revenue analytics, and business KPIs Experience in retail and/or consumer goods is a strong plus Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence both technical and non-technical stakeholders Self-starter capable of delivering quickly in a fast-paced, project-driven environment 20-week interim assignment with immediate business impact Build an automated EMEA reporting solution High visibility with senior finance and analytics stakeholders Hy id working model in Zurich (2-3 days onsite)....
