ph3MSAT Process Engineer – Sensor Cartridge Operations (SC) /h3 pRoche is advancing the future of genomic diagnostics — and within Sensor Cartridge Operations (SC), our teams are building the next generation of sequencing technology. Across our sites in Rotkreuz and Santa Clara, we are scaling a groundbreaking RUO sequencing platform powered by CMOS sensor modules and Sequencing‑by‑Expansion (SBX) nanopore technology. This system is designed to redefine how genomic information is generated and used in personalized healthcare. /p pTo strengthen our Rotkreuz operations, we are looking for an MSAT Process Engineer who thrives in regulated environments, enjoys hands‑on technical work, and wants to contribute to the ramp‑up of a highly innovative production line. /p h3Your impact within Roche /h3 pAs part of the MSAT Process Engineering community, you will operate at the interface of manufacturing, quality, development, and global collaboration. Your work directly supports the reliability and performance of Roche’s sequencing systems — technologies that ultimately help clinicians deliver more precise care to patients worldwide. /p h3What you will do /h3 ul libOn‑site production support technical expertise /b Act as a technical partner for shopfloor teams, providing daily support during the start‑up phase of our sequencing production line. /li libChange implementation /b Drive and execute technical and process changes in SAP for sensor and cartridge components. /li libProduct care non‑conformity handling /b Lead structured investigations, root‑cause analyses, and corrective actions within your Squad. /li libData‑driven process monitoring /b Evaluate production data and performance indicators to ensure stable, high‑quality processes. /li libCross‑site collaboration /b Coordinate with colleagues at our Santa Clara site; occasional evening meetings may be required. /li libCompliance quality mindset /b Work strictly according to Roche’s internal procedures and GxP‑regulated standards. /li /ul h3Looking ahead (2027 and beyond) /h3 ul liLead bContinuous Improvement (CIP) /b initiatives using Lean/Six Sigma /li liGradually take ownership of btechnical supplier management /b for key components /li /ul h3What you bring /h3 ul liDegree in bNatural Sciences or Engineering /b, or equivalent technical apprenticeship /li lib1–3 years of experience /b in a regulated environment with strong quality awareness /li liStrong communication skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively /li liMotivation to learn new manufacturing technologies and contribute to process improvements /li libFluent English /b, bGerman at B2+ /b /li /ul h3Nice to Have /h3 ul liExperience with DoE, statistical tools, data‑driven process monitoring, or coaching shopfloor operators. /li /ul h3Your application /h3 pPlease apply online.
