Bavarian Capital is expanding its analytical support for an ongoing engagement with a private banking client. This internship is designed to integrate fresh perspectives into our data workflows and help ensure long term stability for the assets we manage. By contributing to our internal research and reporting, you support the firm commitment to precise and thoughtful capital management.

About the role
As a Data Analytics Intern, you will join a team that values accuracy and methodical progress. We avoid chasing market volatility, focusing instead on the underlying data that informs our investment decisions. This is a fully remote position where you will assist in processing financial datasets, creating clear visualizations, and helping the team maintain high standards of data integrity across all bank-related projects. You will work closely with our senior staff to ensure that every report we produce is backed by sound logic and reliable information.

What you will do
  • Assist in the collection and cleaning of financial data from various banking and market sources.
  • Develop automated reports to help the team monitor portfolio performance over time.
  • Participate in the creation of data visualizations that simplify complex investment trends for internal reviews.
  • Conduct basic statistical analysis to identify long term patterns in market behavior and asset growth.
  • Support the maintenance of internal databases to ensure information remains current and accessible to the team.
  • Document data sources and methodology to maintain transparency and consistency in our reporting process.
  • Collaborate with analysts to verify the accuracy of quarterly investment reviews and compliance documents.
  • Monitor data feeds for inconsistencies and report technical issues to the relevant team members promptly.
What we are looking for
  • Current student or recent graduate in a field related to statistics, finance, economics, or data science.
  • Basic proficiency with spreadsheets and common data management software.
  • Familiarity with foundational programming concepts or tools like SQL or Python for data processing.
  • A logical approach to problem solving and a strong interest in the fundamentals of financial markets.
  • Clear and professional communication skills suited for a written, remote environment.
  • The ability to work independently and manage your own schedule effectively without direct supervision.
  • High attention to detail when dealing with large volumes of numbers and technical information.
  • An appreciation for sustainable investment strategies rather than speculative or short term trends.
