We are looking for a motivated colleague as Technical Trainer Fire Safety Systems for our global Buildings Business Unit. In this role you are responsible for designing, delivering, and continuously improving high‐quality technical training programs related to Siemens’ fire detection and safety systems. You translate complex technical, regulatory, and system-related topics into clear, practical, and engaging learning experiences for internal employees, customers, and partners. You combine deep technical expertise with strong didactic skills and collaborate closely with cross‐functional stakeholders to ensure training content is aligned with product developments, regulatory requirements, and customer needs. Your new responsibilities - Training Program Development: Design, develop, and maintain comprehensive technical training concepts and curricula for fire safety systems and solutions, translating complex regulations and architectures into practical, learner-focused content for various target groups (Technical Engineers, Technical Technicians, Project Managers, Technical Support, and End Users) - Training Delivery & Facilitation: Plan, organize, and conduct engaging technical fire safety trainings in diverse formats (classroom, virtual, hybrid), facilitating both theoretical sessions and practical, system-based exercises for all skill levels - Learning Content Creation & Management: Develop, update, and manage high-quality learning assets, including documentation, presentations, manuals, exercises, and digital content (e.g., e-learning, videos), ensuring alignment with current regulations and product releases - Stakeholder Collaboration & Alignment: Collaborate closely with internal teams (Product Management, R&D, Technical support, ) to align training content with product updates, regulatory changes, and customer requirements - Quality Assurance & Continuous Learning: Collect participant feedback to continuously improve training quality, actively supporting knowledge transfer and fostering a culture of continuous learning within the organization - Special Projects & Mentoring: Support or lead certification/approval programs, contribute to global/regional training initiatives, and coach/mentor subject matter experts and junior trainers Your skills and experience - Technical degree in electrical engineering, fire safety, building technologies, or a related field - Proven experience with fire detection or safety systems, coupled with a strong understanding of relevant regulations, standards, and system architectures (certification is a plus) - Demonstrated experience in technical training, knowledge transfer, or a comparable role, ideally including familiarity with digital learning formats and e-learning tools - Excellent presentation, facilitation, and communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical topics into clear, practical, and engaging content for diverse audiences - Structured, self-organized, and quality-oriented working style, comfortable with various learning formats (classroom, virtual, hybrid) - Collaborative mindset and strong stakeholder management skills, ideally gained within an international or matrix organization - Fluency in English is essential; proficiency in German is a significant advantage What We Offer - A challenging and impactful role at the cutting edge of fire safety technology - High level of responsibility and autonomy in shaping technical training - Close collaboration with experts across engineering, product development, and project teams - Opportunities to drive global training concepts and foster continuous improvement - Dedicated support for your professional development and continuous learning - Further information about employee benefits can be found here What it’s like working for us We place significant emphasis on fostering an inclusive and flexible working culture that encourages everyone to be their authentic selves.
