About Our Client

For our client, we are currently looking for a Middle Office Private Equity Specialist.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities :

Transaction Processing and Monitoring :

Execute and monitor private equity transactions including capital calls, distributions, and fund investments.

  • Liaise with investment teams to ensure accurate and timely settlement of transactions.
  • Maintain and update investment records, ensuring data accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.

Portfolio Management :

Assist in the preparation and review of portfolio performance reports.

  • Coordinate with the front office to gather necessary information for ongoing portfolio analysis.
  • Ensure that portfolio data is accurately reflected in internal systems and external reports.
  • Valuation and Reconciliation :

    Work closely with the finance and accounting teams to ensure accurate valuation of private equity holdings.

  • Conduct regular reconciliation of portfolios with fund administrators and custodians.
  • Review and validate financial statements and capital account balances from general partners.
  • Investor Relations Support :

    Provide support to the investor relations team by preparing reports and presentations for clients and stakeholders.

  • Manage communication with limited partners (LPs) regarding capital calls, distributions, and other fund-related activities.
  • Compliance and Risk Management :

    Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, and regulatory requirements.

  • Assist in the development and implementation of risk management processes specific to private equity investments.
  • Monitor and report on regulatory changes that could impact private equity operation
  • The Successful Applicant

  • Education : Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master's degree or professional qualification (CFA, CAIA) is a plus.
  • Experience : 5-7 years of experience in middle office, fund administration, or private equity operations.
  • Skills :
  • Strong knowledge of private equity structures, transactions, and reporting.

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
