Shape the future through scientific breakthroughs and innovation.

As a Senior Technician in Lipids & Metabolic Analytics department at Nestlé Research, your mission is to provide analytical support in lipids analytics and deliver timely, high-quality data that supports research, innovation, and operational needs. You’ll make a difference by collaborating closely with scientists, experts, peers across analytical groups, and external partners. This is your opportunity to turn ideas into sustainable and innovative solutions for people, pets, and the planet.

How you’ll make an impact as a Senior Technician in Lipids Analytics

  • Delivering timely, high-quality lipid data that advances research projects and supports operational priorities.
  • Leading the execution of lipid extraction and chromatography experiments with independence, accuracy, and scientific rigor.
  • Driving the implementation of analytical methods and technical solutions that improve lipid analysis capabilities.
  • Evaluating results critically to generate reliable insights and strengthen scientific decision-making.
  • Building knowledge across teams by presenting findings clearly and supporting colleagues, students, and apprentices in lipid analysis.
  • Advancing innovation by exploring and applying new analytical technologies that expand what is possible in lipids analytics.

What will make you successful

  • Bringing strong expertise in lipid classes, lipid extraction, and the analysis of lipophilic compounds with a similar position in industry or in academia.
  • Applying advanced knowledge of gas chromatography and liquid chromatography methods to deliver precise analytical results.
  • Using scientific judgment to organize experiments independently, interpret data critically, and solve analytical challenges effectively.
  • Collaborating with a quality-focused, proactive and curiosity mindset while working confidently across diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Communicating fluently in English and French.
  • Bringing collaboration, fresh thinking, bold questions, respect, and a positive, wellbeing-oriented mindset.

At Nestlé Research, we place people at the core of everything we do.

Our benefits are designed to support your growth and wellbeing, so you can thrive at work and in life:

  • Flexible working options, including hybrid work possibilities (for office based roles)
  • Paid holidays beyond legal requirements
  • Learning and development opportunities to grow your career
  • Performance based bonus
  • Healthcare contribution and access to the Employee Assistance Program
  • Strong employer contribution to your pension plan
  • Generous parental leave and comprehensive family support solutions
  • Attractive employee discounts across various products and services
